Mooloolah Valley is located west of Caloundra, in the Sunshine Coast hinterland.
It is bounded by State Forest and the Dularcha National Park to its south, with Palmwoods and Eudlo to the north. To the west are Glenview and the Bruce Highway.
Mooloolah Valley is a semi-rural setting, with the majority of homes in the area on one to three acres and more.
Elevated properties offer excellent views up and down the coastline. Houses in the area are varied, ranging from original Queenslanders and traditional brick and tile homes to one of a kind architecturally designed homes.
Mooloolah Valley has its own primary school, along with a general store and post office. There is also a train station in the main street. The commute south to Brisbane, via Caboolture, takes about one hour and 20 minutes and just 20 minutes north to Nambour.
Mooloolah Valley has good access to major centres and facilities on the Sunshine Coast, via Mooloolah Connection Road, which links up with Caloundra Road and the Bruce Highway, which in turn connects to the Sunshine Motorway
